Many Hokies made the trip to Philadelphia for Tech's game with Temple, and
this young fan enjoyed learning some American history while visiting
Independence Hall before the game.

Kevin Jones earned the patriotic right to carry the American flag as the
Hokies took the field for the final BIG EAST conference road game.

The Owls play their games in the brand new Lincoln Financial Field, but the
Hokie fans far outnumbered the Temple faithful in the beautiful NFL stadium.

Defense dominated the first half as neither team could find the end zone.
|
Carter Warley hit a field goal in the first quarter for the only points in
the half.
|
Marcus Vick played a great deal during the half, completing 4-of-6 passes for
61 yards.
