Virginia Tech 62 - Florida A&M 0

Homecoming 2004 began with the traditional parade in downtown Blacksburg which was enjoyed by Hokie fans of all ages.

The Highty-Tighties Alumni Band was impressive, as always, with its precision marching and musicianship.

It didn't take Tech long to get marching in Lane Stadium, as David Clowney (87) celebrates a TD catch on the Hokies' first offensive play against Florida A&M.

Darryl Tapp intercepts a pass on the Rattlers' second possession to keep the beat going for the Hokies.

Mike Imoh gained 40 yards on returns and scored Tech's second touchdown of the day en route to 42 yards rushing in limited duty.

Jeff King put the Hokies up 21-0 in the first quarter with a 10-yard touchdown reception from Bryan Randall.
