Virginia Tech playing in a Thursday night game in Atlanta gave the four Hokies (Kevin McCadam, Michael Vick, Keion Carpenter and DeAngelo Hall) who play for the Falcons a chance to watch their alma mater.

Vick and a few others spoke with the players in the lockerroom before the Hokies took the field to play Georgia Tech.

Chris Ellis recovered a fumble -- one of five turnovers the teams combined for in the first half.

With Tech trailing 14-0 in the second quarter, David Clowney scored on a 34-yard pass from Bryan Randall to put the Hokies on the board.

Mike Imoh rushed for 77 yards on the day and helped the Hokies in thier field position battle.

Jared Mazzetta had a 21-yard reception to keep a Tech drive alive.
