Linebacker Mikal Baaqee was credited with 13 tackles to lead Tech
against the Deacons.

WIth the score knotted at 10 apiece, Mike Imoh plunged into the end
zone from 7 yards out to put the Hokies on top 17-10 with 2:10
remaining in the game.

The Hokie fans endured --and enjoyed -- their third-straight game
going down to the wire, with Wake Forest needing to go the length of
the field to tie the game.

Jimmy Williams intercepted a pass in the end zone on second-and-goal,
but was ruled out of bounds, giving Wake two more attempts to send it
to overtime.

Hokies everywhere celebrated, as did Tech assistant coach Jim
Cavanaugh, as the Hokies pulled off a victory in their first ACC road
game to go to 4-2 on the season.
