Bryan Randall had a great game at QB for the Hokies, hitting 15 of 21
passes for 253 yards and two touchdowns.

Royal was on the receiving end of a 35-yarder to put the Hokies on
top 28-0 going into halftime.

The game was played in front of a sellout crowd, with the
construction of the new West side addition towering above Lane
Stadium.

Fullback John Kinzer put the first points on the board in the second
half, catching a 3-yard pass from Randall.

It was BeamerBall for the Hokies as defensive end Jason Lallis tipped
a pass then stripped it from a lineman and took it 28 yards for the
score.

Led by Vince Hall (9) the Tech defense was tough all day, posting a
shutout against WMU.
