Jim Davis blocked a short field goal to help the Hokies preserve the
shutout win over the Broncos.

It was the defense's turn to score again, when Brandon Flowers
returned an interception 38 yards for a TD to start the scoring in
the fourth quarter.

Tight end Duane Brown made a nifty move to provide the final score on
a 33-yard pass from Glennon.

Defensive end Daryl Tapp was all smiles as the Hokies celebrated a
63-0 whitewashing of WMU in the home opener.

The HokieBird and fans celebrated the big win and looked forward to
the next week's game against Duke -- the Hokies' first-ever Atlantic
Coast Conference football game.
