Kim Hogan and the HighTechs were excited and helped keep the crowd in Cassell Coliseum rocking.
Zabian Dowdell and the Hokies played smart and aggressive all game, taking it to the Blue Devils.
Coleman Collins got two of his 14 points on a monster dunk and the Hokies lead most of the first half.
