Hall helped lead the Hokies to their first NCAA Regional championship, hitting two game-winning home runs in the process. In the opener against Louisville, she hit a walk-off home run in the bottom of the 10th inning to lift the Hokies to a 1-0 win. In the championship game, with the Hokies trailing 1-0, she hit a two-run home run against Tennessee to spark a four-run fourth inning as the Hokies went on to win 4-2.
Jurrian van der Vaart, Golf, Sr., Almelo, the Netherlands
Van der Vaart advanced to the NCAA Championships with his tie for sixth place at the East Regionals. Van der Vaart is one of two individuals to advance out of the East Regional, by way of his seven-under-par 206. He is the first Hokie golfer to advance as an individual competitor under the current set-up.All three of his rounds were par-or-better at the regionals.
