Athlete Of The Week For The 2009-2010 Season

Marika Gray, Women's Soccer, Jr., Alexandria, Va.
Gray led the Hokie offense last weekend and helped Tech advance to the Sweet 16 for the first time in program history. The Hokies earned their first NCAA Tournament win as Gray scored the first goal of the game against Murray State, and she later netted two in Tech's 3-1 defeat of Dayton. These were the first postseason scores of Gray's career and she has now tallied a team-leading and career-high 10 goals on the year.
