Athlete Of The Week
For The 2015-16 Season

The Hokies collected five gold medals at the ACC Outdoor Track & Field championships last weekend in Tallahassee, Florida. Chris Uhle led Tech's pole vaulters with his second title while the squad followed suit in places two through seven. Freshman Matija Muhar took the crown in the javelin in his collegiate debut. Thomas Curtin highlighted the men's track taking gold in both the 5,000 and 10,000 meters to become a seven-time ACC champion. Hanna Green led the women's team with her third title in the 800 meters, posting an Olympic Trials qualifying time in the final.
