Athlete Of The Week
    For The 2014-15 Season



    Devin Carter (Wrestling, r-Sr., Christiansburg, Va.)
    In his final NCAA Championships, Carter finished his stellar career with a third-place finish at 141 pounds to become the program's first three-time All-American. The Christiansburg native was upset in the quarterfinals, but battled back to win his final four matches to wrestle above his seed and help the Hokies to their third-straight top-10 finish. Carter finished his career with 121 wins, 56 dual meet wins, 19 NCAA Championship wins, 38 pins, four ACC titles and the highest winning percentage in program history and became the first NCAA finalist in program history when he reached the finals last season.
