High School: Lettered for two years under Coach Rick Lynch at Tomball High School, earning all-district honors twice ... As a senior, hit .400 with six homers and 40 runs batted in, including one game where he went 5-for-6 with two homers, two doubles and eight RBIs ... Hit a walk-off homer in the eighth inning versus Klein Oak ... Batted .370 with three homers and 25 RBIs as a junior as his team won a sixth-straight district title ... Also pitched as a junior, going 2-1 with a 1.52 ERA, and tossed a no-hitter in the championship game of the Round Rock tournament versus Pflugerville.
