2012: Was second on the team in appearances with 28, all out of the pen, while finishing 13 of them … Had a 6-2 record (second on team in wins) and three saves (tied for first) and posted a 3.18 ERA … Threw a total of 45.1 innings and struck out 34 batters … Opponents batted just .240 against him … Threw at least one inning 27 outings, 15 games with more than 1.0 innings pitched … Did not allow an earned run in 19 appearances … Threw at least two frames on six occasions … Struck out at least two nine times … During the season, inherited 15 runners and allowed just five to score … In ACC-only games, finished 13th in the conference with a 3.03 ERA and was tied for fifth in games (17) … Was roughed up in first outing of the season - 0.2 innings, three earned runs versus Bradley (2/17) - but rebounded the rest of the weekend at the Kennesaw State Tournament (2/17-19) ... 2011: Appeared in his first game in over two years (May 2, 2009 at Florida State) when he entered in the sixth inning versus USC Upstate (5/4) and retired his first batter ... Allowed a single and a walk to the other batters faced in the game, his only appearance.
2010: Redshirted the season.
2009: Appeared in 22 games, second most on the team, with 20 out of the pen … Had a 4-1 record, combined on one shutout and posted a 6.09 ERA … Threw a total of 34.0 innings and struck out 29 batters … In relief appearances, threw at least one inning in 16 outings, including at least two on five occasions, and did not allow an earned run in eight of them … Struck out at least two six times, including a season-high six once … In two starts, tossed four total innings, two each, and did not allow an earned run … Suffered his only loss of the season in third outing, versus ETSU (2/24) … Earned his first win the next day with a start against the Bucs (2/25), while striking out two … Also struck out two versus Bucknell (2/28) in three innings, at Duke (3/6) in 1.2 innings and at Radford (3/10) in two frames … Picked up another win after tossing a season-high three innings of relief against Bucknell (2/28) … Was credited with his third win in the victory over Radford (3/10) … Made his second start at James Madison (3/31) and picked up his fourth win of the year … Struck out a career-high six batters in just three innings at High Point (4/15) … Pitched 2.2 innings against William & Mary (4/21) … Tossed a career-high four innings against Radford (4/29), allowing one earned run and striking out three.
