2016: Appeared in eight games, which included four starts … Had an 7.54 ERA in a total of 22.2 innings, struck out 12 batters, walked eight and posted a 1-3 record … Picked up his win in start versus ETSU (Feb. 23) in a combined shutout … Tossed a season-high 5.1 innings in a start versus Radford (March 1) and 2.0 twice in relief … Threw at least 1.0 innings in all four bullpen outings ... Inherited four runners and just one of them scored … Retired 3-of-4 first batters faced … Struck out a season-high four batters twice (versus Radford, March 1, and against Campbell, March 8) … Pitched a total of 15 scoreless innings, including 10.0 consecutive … Also, threw six perfect frames and, at one point, retired seven straight batters … Had four double plays turned behind him, of which two were GDPs.

2014: Appeared in eight games making two starts … Had a 6.75 ERA in a total of 13.1 innings, struck out 10 batters and earned a save … In his six relief appearances, had a 1.74 ERA (best among pitchers with at least 10 IP) in 10.1 innings and opponents hit just .167 against him … Overall, batters hit just .269 … Threw at least 1.0 innings in five relief outings and did not allow an earned run in three of them … Struck out at least two batters three times, including five versus Longwood … Pitched a total of eight scoreless innings, including 4.0 consecutive … Also, threw four perfect frames, struck out the side once, and, at one point, retired nine straight batters ... High School: Earned three varsity letters while playing for Coach Ken Gray at Mason … Named all-conference as a junior and senior, and earned Cincinnati Enquirer Player of the Year and Ohio High School Division 1 player of the year … Career numbers included a 19-3-1 record with 170 strikeouts in 140 innings pitched … Also bowled for the Comets and was named first team all-conference as a junior and senior.
