2012: Was third on the team in appearances with 20, all out of the pen, while finishing eight of them … Posted a 7-0 record (first on team in wins), combined on a shutout and posted a 2.32 ERA … Threw a total of 31.0 innings and struck out 34 batters … Opponents batted just .235 against him … Threw at least one inning 16 outings, nine games with more than 1.0 innings pitched … Did not allow an earned run in 16 appearances, including 12 straight … Struck out at least two 10 times … During the season, inherited 21 runners and allowed just six to score …Struggled in his first outing as a Hokie - one inning, two earned runs - against George Mason (2/25) - with a strikeout, but rebounded the next day, picking up the win in relief in Tech’s 4-3 walk-off win over Iowa (2/26) - one inning, one hit, one strikeout ... 2010 – 2011 (at Butte College): Compiled an overall 12-6 mark for the Roadrunners in 26 starts and earned one save in two relief appearances … Posted a 4.02 ERA in 163.1 innings with 147 strikeouts, two complete games and one combined shutout … Was named Golden Valley All-Conference and All-Academic … In 2010, was 3-4 in 11 starts and earned a save in two relief appearances … Posted a 6.35 ERA in 62.1 innings with 53 strikeouts … In 2011, was 9-2 in 15 starts (two complete games, one combined shutout) … Had a 2.58 ERA in 101 innings with 94 strikeouts.
