Before Tech: Spent the last two years at Iowa Western CC (2016-17) ... In his first season, helped the team to a 52-15 record, the Region XI Tournament and the Region 4 District titles, and a berth in the semifinals of the NJCAA World Series ... Named a First Team All-Region XI after batting .358 in 58 games for the Reivers in 2016 ... Had 53 hits, including four doubles, three triples and three home runs, while adding 38 RBI and scoring 43 times ... Was second on the team with 18 walks and stole a team-high 18 bases ... In 2017, team went 44-16 and was a Region XI tournament finalist ... Hit .317 with 38 hits, including nine doubles (second-most on the team), three triples and two home runs ...
