2012: Made 29 starts – 25 at catcher, four as DH – and played in 32 games total … Posted four multi-hit, three multi-run and four multi-RBI games … Was limited due to injury, but still had 18 hits, including one double and two home runs, and drew nine walks … Scored 10 runs and drove in 17, which included two walk-off game-winning RBI … Had a single and drew a walk while making three starts at the Kennesaw State Tournament (2/17-19) ... Hit a single versus George Mason (2/25) ... Knocked in the game-winning run with a sacrifice fly in Tech’s 4-3 walk-off win against Iowa (2/26) ... Notched two more RBI with a double and scored a run at High Point (2/28) ... In four-game series with Yale (3/3-4), had five hits including two home runs, drew three walks, scored seven times and plated seven more ... Drove in three runs, including two in the top of the ninth to tie the game at Virginia (3/9) and then one in the 11th frame for insurance in the 10-8 Hokie win ... High School: Was a four-year letterman for Coach Billy Emerson at Paul VI, where he captained the team to a state championship as a senior while setting school records in batting average (.483), on-base percentage (.583), home runs (seven) and RBI (34) … Was named the Virginia Independent Schools player of the year, as well as to the All-Met, All-Washington Catholic Athletic Conference and All-Fairfax teams … A member of the 2009 Baseball Clearinghouse All-National Team … Helped Paul VI to the WCAC championship in 2007 and to the state playoffs in 2008 … As a junior, batted .418 with 28 RBI and two home runs while drawing a school-record 26 walks.
