Before Tech: Spent the 2017 season at Colby Community College and the season before at Northeastern JC (2016) ... At Colby, appeared in 13 games with nine starts, the fourth-most on the team … Posted a 4-6 record after tossing 60.1 innings and allowing just 35 hits, for a .169 batting average against, which led the conference … Led the team in strikeouts (87, fourth in the conference), strikeouts per nine innings (12.98, led conference) and ERA (3.58, ninth) … Threw at least 6.0 innings in six starts, including a season-best 7.2 versus Fort Scott CC (May 5) … Struck out at least five batters eight times, including 10+ three times … Struck out 13 twice – a 7.0-inning, one-hit effort at Butler CC (April 14) and in the Fort Scott contest … At Northeastern appeared in seven games with one start … Tossed 18.2 innings and struck out 14 batters, but was 0-2 with a 9.16 ERA.
