2012: Made 18 starts – 12 in right, five in center and one in left – – and played in 43 games total … Posted five multi-hit games, including one game with three hits, while adding two multi-run games and one multi-RBI game … Batted .241 with 21 hits, including three doubles and one triple for 26 total bases and a .299 slugging percentage … Scored 14 runs and drove in 11 … Drew two walks, was hit by a pitch four times and had a .290 on-base percentage … Was 4-for-7 on stolen base attempts … As a pinch hitter, had a team-high tying four hits, including an RBI single and double, and scored three times as a pinch runner … Also notched a pair of outfield assists … Played in three games in the Kennesaw State Tournament (2/17-19) and recorded Tech’s first outfield assist of the year in the ninth inning to help preserve the win versus Bradley (2/17) ... Scored a run in wins over Iowa (2/26) and at High Point (2/28), both in pinch-running situations ... High School: Earned a pair of varsity letters playing for Peter Mueller at Montgomery … Was a two-time All-Somerset County, all-area (central Jersey), and All-Skyland Conference selection … After senior season, in which he batted .512 with 43 hits (both school records), with eight doubles, four triples, 10 home runs and 42 RBI, was named Trenton Times player of the year … Was also the team MVP and earned all-state and All-Group 4 selections … Finished his career with a school record .418 batting average.
