ESPN Radio 1430 AM to broadcast Tech Baseball
Station to carry 40-game slate

BLACKSBURG, Va. - Virginia Tech baseball returns to airwaves this season with a 40-game regular season schedule on ESPN Radio AM 1430, The Sports Addict. For those not in the coverage area, each game will also be available at hokietv.com.
The 2003-04 broadcast schedule begins on March 27 with the Pittsburgh series and continues through the remainder of the year. Radio coverage will include all BIG EAST Conference games as well as nonconference contests against Liberty, James Madison, Radford and Richmond among others. The schedule also includes Tech's first-ever night game on April 14 against Virginia and the evening contest one week later in Charlottesville versus the Cavaliers. All postseason games will also be broadcast on ESPN Radio AM 1430, The Sports Addict.
Coverage begins 15 minutes prior to the first pitch with the pregame show including an interview with Tech head coach Chuck Hartman. At the conclusion of each game, the postgame show will include comments from Coach Hartman and a featured player.
