In the second game, a 9-8 Tech win, Tugwell belted two doubles and a single and scored a run.
For the week, Tugwell batted .571 (8-14) with two home runs, a pair of doubles, four runs batted in and four runs scored. For the season, he is hitting .370 overall with a .476 batting average in BIG EAST games.
Tech is now 13-9 on the season and leads the BIG EAST Conference with a 6-1 league record.
