Cumulus NRV to broadcast Tech Baseball
Broadcast schedule to begin on Tuesday

BLACKSBURG, Va. -- Virginia Tech baseball returns to airwaves again this season with 45 regular season games to be carried on Supertalk 101.7 FM and Sports Radio 1460 WRAD, owned and operated by Cumulus NRV, a divison of Cumulus Media. The broadcast schedule opens on Tuesday on Sports Radio 1460 as the Hokies travel to Richmond to take on Virginia Commonwealth in a 4 p.m. contest.

All afternoon games will be carried on Sports Radio 1460 WRAD with all evening contests to be broadcast on Supertalk 101.7 FM. The 2007 broadcast schedule includes all 30 ACC games as well as nonconference contests against Virginia Commonwealth, Richmond, Liberty, Marist, Longwood, James Madison, VMI, Radford, William & Mary, and Charlotte. All postseason games will also be broadcast by Cumulus NRV.

Coverage begins 15 minutes prior to the first pitch with the pregame show including an interview with Tech head coach Pete Hughes. At the conclusion of each game, the postgame show will include comments from Coach Hughes and a featured player.
