




































The Virginia Tech Cross Country Course is one of the few on-campus courses in the nation. Its close proximity to Rector Field House and to the Johnson-Miller Track Complex gives Tech's cross country program symmetry when it comes to training and competition.

With the continued rise of the Virginia Tech track & field program under Dave Cianelli, the distance squad has seen its share of success at both the conference and national levels under the tutelage of Ben Thomas. The Virginia Tech cross country program has a had a total of nine student-athletes earn All-American status in its history with Tasmin Fanning being the only Hokie to achieve the honor twice. Current Hokie Will Mulherin is the latest Tech runner to garner All-America honors after finishing 30th
at the NCAA Championships in 2011.
