The 2012 edition of the Hokies went down in the history books as the men became the first team in the school's history to win an ACC title. Pacing the way for the Hokies was Will Mulherin, whose efforts were good enough for an individual ACC title as well. The Virginia Tech cross country program has a had a total of nine student-athletes earn All-American status in its history with Tasmin Fanning and Will Mulherin being the only Hokies to achieve the honor twice.
