About Me!

Personal Statement

Homecoming King is an honored position in with one can share Virginia Tech’s tradition and long standing history. I believe that I am qualified because I exemplify the characteristics of leadership, courage, integrity, and likeability. These characteristics will allow for me to up hold the university motto: UT Prosim (That I May Serve). My passion to serve others will shine significantly if I was selected as Homecoming King. I am a leader and exhibit this trait through various athletic and student service organizations. I strive for the best, and have the ability to motivate my peers. I would use this title to be a catalyst for change and I feel this role would allow me to educate students of our similarities and differences that make us we are; that makes us Virginia Tech Students; that makes us Hokies.
