Can't make it to the 2002 Toyota Gator Bowl in Jacksonville? The Virginia Tech ISP Sports Network will bring home all the thrills and excitement of the Hokies' ninth-consecutive bowl game to Tech fans throughout the Virginia with exciting radio programs.
The holiday broadcast coverage begins with Men's basketball as they take on Florida State with tip-off at 7:00 pm on Thurdsdy December 27th in Tallahassee, Florida. Airtime is 6:30 pm.
And if you're Jacksonville-bound, make sure you bring your radio! You'll be able to follow the live radio coverage of the game between the Hokies and FSU Seminoles on the Virignia Tech ISP Sports Network live at Alltel Stadium in Jacksonville on 90.3 FM or 94.5 FM.
The network will produce three 90-minute Hokie Hotline radio shows on the nights preceding the game, live from the team hotel - The Marriott Sawgrass. The shows will air on Friday, December 28, Saturday, December 29, and Sunday, December 30 from 7-8:30 p.m. eastern time. The Hokie Hotlines will originate live from the Cascades Lounge at the Marriott Sawgrass and fans are encouraged to attend the live broadcasts. Fans nationwide can also call the show to ask questions by dialing 1-888-TALK-ISP.
The Hokie Hotlines will feature Tech head football coach Frank Beamer, members of his coaching staff and Tech players along with hosts Bill Roth and Mike Burnop.
On January 1, 2001 radio coverage from the stadium begins at 10:30 a.m. with the pre-game show, kick-off is at 12:30 pm.
Fans outside the range of the Virginia Tech ISP Sports Network can also catch the games and the Hokie Hotlines on their home computers on the network's world-wide 'cybercast' on Yahoo.
