Below you will find a comprehensive description of the Virginia Tech
Hokies' policies at Lane Stadium/Worsham Field. It is the team's wish that all
patrons have a safe and enjoyable experience, and we believe that these
policies will aid in accomplishing that endeavor.
Alcoholic beverages ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED within Lane Stadium/Worsham Field. Anyone caught possessing alcoholic beverages may be ejected from the stadium. NO refunds will be given in these cases.
ATM machines are located in the South End Zone on the main concourse, the East lower side between Sections 9 and 11, at Section 21 on the East upper side, and on the West side at Section 2.
Announcements and paging will not be made unless there is an emergency. If a family member at home needs to reach a fan attending a game, assistance can be provided by calling (540) 231-4914.
Banners, signs and flags will not be permitted in Lane Stadium/Worsham Field.
A very limited number of parking spaces are available for buses. Game day passes may be purchased in advance by calling (540) 231-6731. There are currently 10 bus spaces on Washington Street. A season pass is $1,050. In the event all spaces are not taken by the use of a season pass, the charge will be $200 per game. NOTE: Game by game requests are to be made after August 1.
Blacksburg Transit provides a shuttle service from the Satellite Parking Lots, including Blacksburg High School and the New Blacksburg Middle School. Blacksburg Transit Fare - Virginia Tech Football Gamedays
Blacksburg Transit (BT) bus fares are $5.00 per rider three hours prior to kick-off until the beginning of halftime. These fares apply to all buses, all gameday football shuttles, all parking areas, all routes, and all destinations regardless of trip length. The only exception to these fare changes are riders who possess a valid Hokie Passport (not valid if boarding buses from Blacksburg High School or Blacksburg Middle School); riders boarding from a pre-paid premium area: E-Lot, Tech Airport, Special Needs lot; children three years and younger; and BT Access riders.

NEW BLACKSBURG MIDDLE SCHOOL: Shuttle service available with applicable fares. Parking is $12.00 per vehicle located on 3109 Price's Ford Rd. Fees support local school programs.
BLACKSBURG HIGH SCHOOL: Shuttle service available with applicable fares. Parking is $8.00 per vehicle located at 520 Patrick Henry Dr. Fees support local school programs.
GILBERT LINKOUS ELEMENTARY: Use BT's Tom's Creek A Route with applicable fares. Parking $8.00 per vehicle located at 813 Tom's Creek Rd. Fees support local school programs.
These parking lots are serviced by Blacksburg Transit (BT) gameday football shuttles or regular route bus service. Shuttles run two hours before and after game time. Gameday football shuttles are express and run directly between parking lots and stadium with no stops. For more information visit www.btransit.org or call (540) 961-1185.
No video or movie cameras will be permitted inside the stadium. Still cameras are permitted, however camera's with a detachable lens 6 inches or longer and/or tripods are not.
Virginia Tech football should be an enjoyable experience for all fans. In order to promote athletic excellence and fan enjoyment, we ask for your assistance in displaying a high degree of sportsmanship at all times. Virginia Tech reserves the right to remove from the stadium those individuals whose conduct disrupts players, coaches, officials or other fans. NO refunds will be given in these cases. Any person entering the field of play at any time will be subject to arrest.
Concession stands are located beneath all permanent stands and can be reached by exiting from any portal.
The Athletics Department provides special services for fans that have purchased parking passes in advance. Handicapped parking for the public is available for a $10 fee on the day of the game in designated parking lots (see map). A handicapped accessible shuttle is provided from this lot to the stadium. Customers who require special assistance are urged to make all ticket arrangements well in advance by contacting the Athletics Ticket Office at (540) 231-6731 or 1-800-VA TECH-4 (800-828-3244). Courtesy Shuttles will be stationed at gates inside the stadium and are available on an as-needed basis pre-game, throughout the game, and post game. Special Needs Parking and Transportation
Virginia Tech and BT Access provide parking and transportation for individuals with disabilities or injuries that prevent them from using a regular route vehicle or walking to the stadium. BT Access is a service that provides safe accessible transportation for those with an injury or disability. BT Access shuttles and parking are located in the Special Needs lot ($10.00 Parking Fee) located in the Schultz parking area. These shuttles provide service from the parking area to Gate 2 in the southwest corner of the stadium. Ushers will be at the gate to assist you if help is needed in getting to your seat. During the game, there is service available to return to the Special Needs Lot in case of emergency. After the game, shuttles will return from the stadium to the Special Needs lot. To get to the Special Needs Parking lot: take 460 to the Price's Fork - Downtown Exit, go east towards Virginia Tech, turn onto Main St. from Price's Fork Rd., turn right onto Alumni Mall and the Special Needs Parking lot will be on the right. Elevators in the South End Zone are available for Suite patrons and for disabled fans. In the West Stands, there are a total of six elevators for Suite holders and Indoor Club patrons. The four central elevators are for ADA patrons needing assistance, the President's club, all Suite holders, the working press, and club members of the two inner club areas. The remaining two elevators are located at each end of the West Side and are for ADA patrons needing assistance and for members of the Outdoor Clubs.

First aid stations are located beneath the stands in the concourse on the East Side at Sections 1 & 31, South Side at Section 202, and West Side at Section 20. EMS personnel are located throughout the stadium or can be summoned by dialing (540-231-8311). Event staff and police personnel are also able to assist in locating EMS personnel. Stadium EMS crews are equipped to treat minor or major injuries and illness, transport to a local hospital, or monitor conditions within a venue medical station as long as the patron requires. EMS personnel may also dispense Over-the-Counter medications to persons with non-life threatening symptoms. Locate the nearest First Aid Station for assistance.
Assistance with any ticket problem can be attained by contacting the Virginia Tech Athletics Ticket Office at (540) 231-6731 or 1-800-VA TECH-4 (800-828-3244). The Athletics Ticket Office is located in Lane Stadium, next to Gate 4. Public Will Call, Player Guest and Recruit Will Call are located at Gate 4 in the West South Tower complex. Public Will Call is open 4 hours prior to game time and remains open through the end of the 3rd quarter. Player Guest and Recruit Will Call is open 2 hours prior to game time. If available, game day tickets are on sale at the stadium at least three hours prior to the game. If available, future game tickets are sold at the Lane Stadium ticket office until one hour prior to kickoff.
Every person must have a ticket, even an infant. Times and dates of games are subject to change. The Athletics Ticket Office is not responsible for tickets that are lost, stolen or mailed to a second party. No refunds or exchanges are permitted if the game is played. If you are a person with a disability and desire special accommodations, (to participate in this activity), you must notify the ticket office well in advance of the game. Once you leave the stadium, there is no re-entry.

Many of the parking lots on campus are reserved for Hokie Club members on football game days (see map). Parking in these lots requires a valid parking pass that is mailed before the beginning of the season to qualifying Hokie Club members. Opportunities to purchase a season parking pass for home football games is a benefit of Hokie Club membership and all parking passes are assigned according to the Hokie Club Point Priority System. Hokie Club members are limited to one parking pass per membership. On football game days, a valid parking pass is required for entrance into these parking lots. Upon entering, parking passes must be visibly displayed on the vehicle's rear view mirror or dashboard and must remain there at all times while the car is in the parking lot. Vehicles without a valid parking pass are subject to being ticketed or towed at the owner's expense. Lost, misplaced or stolen parking passes will not be replaced and parking passes are not available on game day. Tailgating is permitted but must be confined to the area immediately behind your vehicle. Parking lots will be monitored through the end of the game. Hokie fans are known for their support of the Virginia Tech Football Team and how they have made Lane Stadium one of the finest "home fields" in the country. A big contributor to that enthusiasm is the tailgating and pre-game spirit built before the kick-off.

Lost and found will be operated at the south tower elevators on the West Side (next to Gate 4). Items can be claimed following the game and items not claimed will be kept until the end of the season. To contact lost and found throughout the season (not available on game days), contact one of the following three departments: Game Operations: (540) 231-9963, Lane Stadium: (540) 231-6067, or Virginia Tech Police Department: (540) 231-6411.
To report a lost person, go to the Police Trailer located under the East Stands at Ramp 1.

In order to provide a more enjoyable experience and for the safety of all fans, the following items are not allowed in the stadium:
Public Parking is available on game day for a $10 fee in designated parking lots (see map). Parking information is available at www.parking.vt.edu/football.htm. Satellite parking is available at Blacksburg High School and the new Blacksburg Middle School. Blacksburg Transit provides a shuttle service (more information) from the Satellite Parking Lots to the stadium.
There is NO re-entry.
All requests for assistance and reports of discourtesy should be directed to stadium ushers. Personnel are positioned at each ramp throughout the stadium for convenience.
Restrooms for men and women are located beneath all permanent stands and can be reached by exiting any portal. Family/Special Needs restrooms are located in the following locations: Behind Section 1 in the East Stands and behind Sections 205 and 509 in the South End Zone as well as behind Sections 2 and 18 in the West Stands. All restrooms, men & women, are equiped with diaper changing stations.
Hokie Club members who have purchased parking passes for RV's are located either in Lot 3 or 16. In order to park in either of these lots a season parking pass must have been purchased in advance. (see map) A new alternative will be offered to the RV patron for the 2009 season. The Public/RV lot will now be located at the Virginia Tech Airport (formerly Prices Fork). The Virginia Tech Airport will have space ready for RV's by noon Friday, prior to a Saturday game, and by noon Thursday for a Thursday night game. The cost is $30 per game for one or two nights for a Motor coach or $150 for a season permit (six home games). Motor Coach owners with personal vehicles other than the tow vehicle will be assessed an additional $15 per game or $75 for a season pass in addition to the Motor Coach. To purchase a season pass in the public Virginia Tech Airport RV lot, patrons can send an email st@vtbcb.com.

All persons entering the stadium will be subject to a visual search by stadium personnel prior to entering the gates. In addition, persons carrying purses, back packs, diaper bags, etc. will be asked to open such items for inspection.
Virginia Tech is committed to providing a smoke-free environment in all facilities, both indoor and outdoor. Smoking WILL NOT BE PERMITTED in stadium concourses, seating areas, restrooms or portals leading to the seating area.
Souvenir stores - HokieShop - are located under the West Stands across from Sections 10 and 12, under the East Stands near Ramp 19 and just inside the entrance of Gate 1, in the South End Zone.
Corporate/professional tailgates are not allowed and no corporate signage is permitted at any time unless prior written approval by the Department of Athletics and ISP Sports has been obtained.

- Throwing objects - This includes, but is not limited to, footballs and frisbees.
- Blocking the roadway - Placing tables, chairs, or other items that may extend into the roadway beyond the bounds of the parking space provided is not permitted.
- Blocking the sidewalks - The sidewalks must remain open for pedestrian travel.
- Sound Systems/Noise amplification - This includes bands and DJ entertainment.
- Cutting, removing, or destroying the boundary ropes or signs.
- Destroying landscaping or fencing.
- Underage drinking.
- All cars in the contributor lots must keep their parking pass displayed at all times, or be subject to towing.
- The owner of the pass is responsible for any violations of the policy due to someone using the pass. I.E. if you lend it out or sell it and there is a violation, you, as the owner of the pass, are responsible if any penalty occurs.
- First violation a ticket will be issued ($30).
- Second violation will result in a loss of the pass for an indefinite period of time.
