Fans encouraged to vote for Wardach for Rudy Award
    The Notebook
Virginia Tech senior defensive end Jeff Wardach is one of numerous players nominated for the Rudy Award, given to an outstanding walk-on for the contributions he makes to his football team

Daniel ‘Rudy’ Ruettiger founded The College Football Rudy Awards to honor Division I football players who brought that ‘something extra’ to the team. Rudy wanted to find the most inspirational and motivational players in America who best defined what he refers to as "The Four C's": Character, Courage, Contribution & Commitment.

Wardach, from Roanoke, started his career as a walk-on and has played in four games for his career, including seeing the field in the ACC Championship Game on the kickoff team.

Fans are encouraged to vote often for Wardach and can do so here.
