Former Virginia Tech linebacker Ben Taylor played in the NFL for six years, and after undergoing eight surgeries in that span, he decided to hang up his cleats in 2006 following a season with the Green Bay Packers.
He spent two seasons as an assistant football coach at Bridgewater College before deciding to get his teaching certificate, and today, he teaches and coaches baseball at Skyline High in Front Royal, Va.
