Hokies in the NFL - A look at Week 2

Here’s a look at how former Virginia Tech football players did this weekend in their respective NFL games. Tech has 19 players on active 53-man rosters with 17 dressing this week. Eighteen of the 19 played with 11 of them starting. Two players are on practice squads and one other is on the injured reserve.

Arizona (W): TE Jeff King - started, no stats; TB Ryan Williams - 10 rush, 13 yds, 2 catches, 10 yds, fumble

New York Giants (W): CB Jayron Hosley - started; 5 tackles, 1 special teams tackle; TB David Wilson - 3 rush, 6 yds, 28.7 avg on KOR; Tampa Bay (L): SS Cody Grimm - 2 special teams tackles

Philadelphia (W): QB Michael Vick - started, 371 yds passing, 1 TD, 34 yds rush, 1 TD; DE Darryl Tapp - 1 tackle; Baltimore: QB Tyrod Taylor (L) - DNP

Seattle (W): SS Kam Chancellor - started, team-high 9 tackles

San Diego (W): WR Eddie Royal - 2 rec, 18 yds

Pittsburgh (W): OLB Jason Worilds - 1 special teams tackle

Kansas City (L): CB Brandon Flowers - started, 1 tackle, 1 PD

Washington (L): CB DeAngelo Hall - started, team-high 8 tackles, 2 TFL, 1 FR; C Will Montgomery - started; WR Joshua Morgan - started, 5 rec, 50 yds, penalty
