2009: Got playing time in four games … Posted a pair of tackles in the Marshall game while playing on the kickoff unit … Picked up 15 plays at linebacker and four on the kickoff unit against Boston College, collecting a pair of tackles … Also appeared briefly against Alabama and Maryland … Improved in three of the four major lifts during off-season testing … Moved to the mike position during spring practice … Contributed five tackles, including one behind the line during the spring Maroon-White game.
