2012: 2012: Played in 11 games, appearing in 165 special teams plays and two defensive snaps … Saw action on special teams in the opener against Georgia Tech, as well as against Austin Peay and at Pittsburgh … Had one tackle on 14 special teams plays against Bowling Green … Contributed on special teams against Cincinnati … Had one tackle while in on 20 special teams plays at North Carolina … Was in on 16 special teams plays at Clemson … Was in on 24 special teams plays at Miami … Recovered a fumble and made one tackle on 23 special teams plays against Florida State … Saw action on 25 special teams plays at Boston College and against Virginia.

2011: Joined the team as a walk-on and was redshirted … Worked at the rover position during the fall … Switched to the backer position for spring practice … Collected three tackles during one spring scrimmage and a sack in another.

High School: A mutli-faceted player for Coach Steve Trimble at Bishop O'Connell High … Played running back and strong safety in high school, earning first-team all-conference twice … Was honorable mention All-Met by The Washington Post and a first-team All-DC Sports Fan selection … Rushed for 763 yards and nine touchdowns and also caught six touchdown passes his senior season … Defensively, recorded 94 tackles, including three sacks, with four interceptions and three fumble recoveries … Returned three punts for touchdowns and four kickoffs for scores … Rushed for 876 yards and six scores his junior season … Recorded 75 tackles, three interceptions and a defensive touchdown that season … Also played lacrosse.
