2011: Dressed for the first time as a Hokie against Boston College, but did not play ... Saw first collegiate action as the placekicker at Duke, stepping in for the injured Cody Journell ... Was 2-for-2 on extra points, but missed his lone field goal attempt from 29 yards.

2010: Took part in the kicking competition each week during the fall but did not see action … Added some weight over the course of the fall and winter … Was 0-for-3 in field goal attempts during spring scrimmages … Contributed a successful PAT during the Maroon-White game … Also kicked off twice during that game.

2009: Joined the team in January … Went through off-season workouts … Joined the battle for the place-kicking duties during spring practice … Made field goals of 25 and 21 yards on his only two attempts during spring scrimmages.

Murray State: Started as the place-kicker for the Racers as a freshman in 2007 … Made 7 of 10 field goal attempts and all 32 of his PATs … Also handled kickoffs and punted eight times … Had a long FG of 48 yards and is the team’s second-leading scorer.

High School: Helped Courtland to back-to-back district championships and a 19-5 combined record his junior and senior seasons … Earned honorable mention all-state, along with first-team all-district and all-region following his final year … Hit 6 of 9 field goal attempts and was 30 of 34 on PATs … Made a 42-yard field goal … Was named special teams MVP … Also a two-year letterman in golf and soccer.
