Players must have competed in the BIG EAST since the league was formed in 1991.
Providence, R.I. - The BIG EAST Conference will be well-represented in Super Bowl XXXV on January 28 in Tampa, Fla. Thirteen players who were participants in BIG EAST football are on the rosters of the New York Giants and Baltimore Ravens, the teams that will battle each other in the NFL Championship Game. The contest will be played at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.

The Giants are led by two Pro Bowl selections - offensive guard Ron Stone (Boston College) and linebacker Jessie Armstead (Miami). In addition, New York boasts players from five of the eight BIG EAST football schools.

The Ravens roster of BIG EAST players is led by the NFL Defensive Player of the Year, linebacker Ray Lewis (Miami). The former Hurricane is the second straight defensive honoree to hail from the Conference, as former UM standout Warren Sapp won the award a year ago.
