Athletic Department To Provide Live Video of Construction

BLACKSBURG, Va. - The Virginia Tech Athletics Department unveiled a new web cam to provide fans on hokiesports.com live shots of the construction process in Lane Stadium/Worsham Field.

hokiesports.com-the webcam made its debut Tuesday morning for the paving of the ground that will once again become Worsham Field in the next few weeks. Crews have begun laying the asphalt in which the trays holding the sod will be placed.

The webcam, which sits atop the Lane Stadium press box, provides fans with updated pictures every 30 seconds. Fans can click on the large top image on hokiesports.com to get these images.

While fans can get the latest on the field renovation, the web cam will be rotated remotely to give fans live updates on the south end zone when it begins.
