Hokie Hotline debut set for Monday night

The Advance Auto Parts Hokie Hotline, featuring Virginia Tech Head Football Coach Frank Beamer and Director of Athletics Jim Weaver makes its 2002 season debut Monday night, August 12 at 7:00 p.m. eastern time.

The 90-minute radio show, which originates from the Gobblertown Tavern in Christiansburg, Virginia, is hosted by Bill Roth, the Voice of the Hokies. Fans may attend the show in person, or participate by calling 888-TALK-ISP.

The program will continue every Monday night through mid-March from 7-8:30 p.m. and can be heard state-wide on the Virginia Tech ISP Sports Network and via the internet at Yahoo.com.

Virginia Tech opens its 2002 season on Sunday, August 25 at Lane Stadium/Worsham Field when the Hokies battle Arkansas State in the 2002 Hispanic College Fund Classic.
