Governor Warner to appear on Virginia Tech Sports Today
Tech's Weekly Television Show makes season debut Sunday

Virginia Governor Mark R. Warner is one of several guests who will appear on Sunday's edition of Virginia Tech Sports Today, the Hokies' weekly television program which makes it season debut this Sunday.

Also joining host Bill Roth on this week's show are Virginia Tech head football coach Frank Beamer, offensive coordinator Bryan Stinespring, and defensive coordinator Bud Foster. The four will preview the 2002 football season. The Hokies face Arkansas State in the season opener on August 25.

In an extensive sit-down interview with Roth, Governor Warner will discuss the Hokies' upcoming season, Tech's stadium expansion, and other issues concerning the Virginia Tech program.

Virginia Tech Sports Today can be seen each Sunday on the Virginia Tech ISP Sports Television Network:
Washington, DC: Newschannel 8, 10:00 a.m.
Norfolk, Va: WAVY-TV 10, Noon.
Richmond, Va: WRIC-TV 8, 1:00 p.m.
Roanoke, Va: WSLS-TV 10, 10 a.m.
Bristol, Va: WCYB-TV 5, 9:30 a.m.

The show will also be re-broadcast each Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. on Comcast SportsNet throughout the mid-Atlantic region.
