Television Coverage Announced for Arkansas State Game
Game time set for 2:30 p.m.

BLACKSBURG - The Virginia Tech Athletics Department announced
Thursday the game time and television coverage for the Hispanic
College Fund Football Classic, to be played on Sunday, Aug. 25 at
Lane Stadium/Worsham Field between Virginia Tech and Arkansas State.

The kickoff will be at 2:30 p.m., and the game will be broadcast by
the over-the-air stations listed to the right.
Additionally, several regional sports networks have picked up the
game. NESN, which reaches over three million cable homes in
Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island and
Connecticut, along with ComCast Sports South (3.6 million cable homes
in South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Florida, Mississippi
and Alabama), Action Sports (200,000 cable homes in Oregon and
Washington) and Metro Sports (Kansas City metro area) have agreed to
carry the game.
It was also confirmed that kickoff for the Louisiana State game on
Sept. 1 has been set for 2:30 pm and will be televised on ABC.
