"Virginia Tech Sports Today" To Air On WSLS-TV
30-minute show to air at 10 a.m.

BLACKSBURG, VA - "Virginia Tech Sports Today," the weekly television show which highlights Tech athletics, will air this Sunday (Sept.16) and for the remainder of the year at 10 a.m. on WSLS-TV (Channel 10) in Roanoke.

The 30-minute show, which features Hokie head coach Frank Beamer during the football season and is hosted throughout the year by Bill Roth, the radio "Voice of the Hokies," runs from mid-August through March.

"Virginia Tech Sports Today" can also be seen in the Roanoke area on Cox Cable Channel 9, which re-broadcasts the show at 3:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and at 3:00 p.m. each Friday. It also airs each Sunday on the following commercial stations - WCYB-TV in Bristol (9:30 a.m.), WAVY in Norfolk (12 noon), and NewChannel 8 in Washington, DC (11 a.m.) -- and throughout the mid-Atlantic region on Comcast Sports Net each Tuesday at 2:30 p.m.
