West Virginia game to be televised in Cassell
September 26, 2001

The Virginia Tech athletics department, in coordination with Parents Weekend and the Dean of Students office, will be televising the Virginia Tech-West Virginia football game on October 6 in Cassell Coliseum. The game will be shown on the two videoboards installed last year.

Doors will open at approximately 11:00 a.m. and admission will be on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no admission charge and the event is open to both students and the general public. Concession stands will also be open.

In addition to the game, some other highlights include contests sponsored by the Student Alumni Association, the Hokie Bird and speakers from both the men's and women's basketball programs at halftime.

The game is slated for a noon kickoff and, due to renovations, Cassell Coliseum currently contains about 9,000 seats, so get there early.
