Home football games to be rebroadcast on Hokie PlayBack
Tech announces deal with WDBJ-TV to re-air games in Roanoke and the New River Valley

BLACKSBURG, Va. - The Virginia Tech athletics department announced Friday that it will produce and distribute Hokie Football PlayBack, a three-hour rebroadcast of home football games at Lane Stadium.

Hokie PlayBack will debut on WDBJ Digital TV. This week's game against West Virginia will air in the Roanoke area on Cox Digital Cable on Channel 107 and on Adelphia Digital Cable on Channel 180.

The games will air on Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesday and Fridays. The Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday times are from noon to 3 p.m. On Fridays, the games will air from 8-11 p.m. All of the home games, which includes West Virginia, Florida A&M, Maryland (Thursday night) and Virginia, will be rebroadcast.

Virginia Tech is seeking distribution of Hokie PlayBack in other cities in Virginia and will announce clearances as they become available.
