Contest to be played at either 1 or 8 p.m.
November 17, 2003

The game time for the Virginia Tech-Virginia football game on Nov. 29 at Charlottesville has not been finalized as Tech officials have been notified that ABC will take a six-day selection for the games of Nov. 29.

ABC has confirmed the 8 p.m., start for the Miami at Pittsburgh telecast on that day. It will be a regional telecast with Notre Dame at Stanford and a TBD ACC game (either Virginia Tech at Virginia or Georgia at Georgia Tech).

The ACC game not selected for prime time will be played at 1 p.m., as a split national telecast along with Iowa State-Missouri. The ACC time decision will be made on a six-day basis as the University of Virginia plays Georgia Tech this Saturday.

Virginia Tech (8-2, 4-2 BIG EAST) hosts Boston College (6-5, 2-4 BIG EAST) on Saturday at 3:30 p.m., in a game televised by ESPN.
