College Football Hall of Fame mobile museum coming to Tech
December 17, 2004

The College Football Hall of Fame's mobile museum will be making a stop in Blacksburg on Sunday. This College Football Hall of Fame "Road Show" will be in the circular driveway (where team buses load and unload) next to Cassell Coliseum along Spring Road at approximately 12:30 p.m.

The mobile museum features exhibits on both Frank Loria and Jerry Claiborne. As most Tech fans know, Loria played at Tech from 1965-67, while Claiborne coached at Tech from 1961-70. Claiborne and Loria both were inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1999.

The mobile museum features exhibits from athletes in all eras and provides fans with an opportunity to learn about the rich tradition of college football. The College Hall of Fame is operated by the National Football Foundation and is located in South Bend, Ind. The Commonwealth chapter of the National Football Foundation is facilitating the mobile museum and will be showcasing its enshrinements in the Central Virginia area throughout the holiday season.
