A. I really can't believe this has happened. This whole season has been great, but I never thought this would happen. I'm very fortunate.

Q. Did you have any idea this was going to happen?

A. No, I had no idea this was going to happen. This is just another dream come true for me. Being a freshman, itās very exciting to me.

Q. This award usually goes to upperclassmen. What does it mean to be named a finalist as a freshman?

A. It means a lot, but I feel it should be for the upperclassmen. Being a freshman makes it that much more special for me.

Q. Now that you're a finalist, do you have any thoughts that you might win it or are you just going to enjoy the moment?

A. I'm just going to enjoy this moment. I've got a couple of exams this week that I have to prepare for and I don't know how I'm going to handle that. But I'm definitely going to enjoy the moment.
