Updated Television Information for Tech-UVa Game
November 16, 2005

ESPN has decided to split its signal for the Virginia Tech-Virginia football game. From 12-1 p.m., Virginia-Virginia Tech will be televised to the entire nation on ESPN. After that, Virginia Tech-Virginia will go to 45 states (everyone except California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska and Hawaii).

At 1 p.m., those states, with the exception of the Spokane DMA, will carry the ABC Broadcast of Ohio State-Michigan (typically West Coast markets do not always carry ABC national games at 12 or 1 p.m., due to children's programming on Saturday mornings on the West Coast).

Virginia Tech-Virginia will be available to those states on GamePlan after 1 p.m., for the normal GamePlan fee. It will be available on GamePlan Online-ESPN's computer video streaming service-for free instead of the normal charge.
