BLACKSBURG - Two Virginia Tech football players picked up All-America honors from various publications and Web sites over the past week. While they didn't come from one of the five nationally recognized All-America squads, the biggest honor came for junior linebacker Vince Hall, who was named a first-team selection by collegefootballnews.com.

Hall, along with Brandon Flowers, was also named to Pro Football Weekly's honorable mention All-America squad.

Hall has 115 tackles, including 10.0 for loss and two sacks, to go along with two forced fumbles and eight quarterback hurries.
