Hokies begin to sign free agent deals

After three Virginia Tech Hokies were drafted in the NFL Draft, several Tech players have signed free agent deals. On Saturday, safety Aaron Rouse was drafted in the third round by the Green Bay Packers and the Packers took receiver David Clowney in the fifth round on Sunday. Shortly thereafter, offensive lineman Brandon Frye was taken by the Houston Texans in the fifth round.

Following the draft, several Hokies agreed to free agent deals:

Nick Leeson, DS, Baltimore Ravens
Brandon Pace, PK, Denver Broncos
Jake Patten, S, San Francisco 49ers
