Ore withdraws name from NFL consideration
Tailback will return for senior year

BLACKSBURG, Va. - Virginia Tech tailback Branden Ore announced Thursday that he has withdrawn his name from consideration for the 2008 NFL Draft and will continue classes at Tech in preparation for his senior season. "I am determined to make my family and my teammates, along with the university and its fans, proud," Ore said. "I plan on helping Virginia Tech to another successful season." Ore, a redshirt junior from Chesapeake, Va., led the Hokies with 992 yards rushing in 2007 and was second on the squad in scoring with 60 points on 10 touchdowns.
