Players helping with move-in day

The Virginia Tech football program is assisting the student body and their families this morning as students return to campus for first semester move-in. The Hokies are participating with the Office of Student Programs in the effort.

The players have been broken into teams of 10, and will joined by a coach, to provide assistance to anyone who needs it along Washington Street. This format is similar to the one used by the team for the car wash held last pre-season. The players are wearing their team issued "Family" T-shirts and will be available most of the morning.

The Hokies will hold their final live scrimmage Friday afternoon before turning their attention to game-week preparation for next Saturday's season opener against East Carolina.
