Ticket scanning to be used for first time Saturday
Fans encouraged to arrive early

BLACKSBURG – The Virginia Tech Athletics Ticket Office will begin employing an electronic ticket scanning system this season and fans are encouraged to arrive early to Saturday’s football game against Furman as it will be the first time the system will be used.

To speed the process up, it will help if each fan carries his/her own ticket with the bar code facing up and toward the person scanning the ticket. Each person entering the stadium is required to have a ticket, regardless of age.

Virginia Tech students must have their Hokie Passport along with their ticket.

Gates open at 11:30 a.m., and the game is sold out. Kickoff is set for 1:33 p.m.
