Nike Offering Beamer Jersey and signed shoes on eBay to benefit Herma's Readers

Nike is offering a rare, unique collection of Nike product crafted for the Virginia Tech Hokies football team. The contents are exact, authentic replicas of select pieces of the Nike Pro Combat uniform worn by Virginia Tech players and staff during their win at Maryland on Nov. 14, 2009.

This locker includes a pair of autographed Zoom Vapor Fly cleats in Virginia Tech's colors. One cleat is signed by head coach Frank Beamer. The other is signed by Hall of Fame defensive end Bruce Smith, an 11-time Pro Bowl selection whose NFL career spanned 18 years with the Bills and Redskins.

The custom Virginia Tech locker contains items that will never be released at retail (as well as a pair of rare, limited edition Nike Trainer 1 shoes) in designs that celebrate the rich heritage of Hokie football. Included with the locker is a full set of tech sheets describing the innovations and design stories of each piece, signed and authenticated by the Nike development team.

Proceeds from the auction benefit Herma's Readers.
