Virginia Tech Sports Today set for Sunday debut

Virginia Tech Sports Today, the weekly television magazine-style program featuring head football coach Frank Beamer, makes its 2010 debut Sunday morning, August 22 on television stations and cable networks throughout the region.

Hosted by Bill Roth, this week’s edition of Virginia Tech Sports Today will focus on the Hokies’ 2010 offense with interviews with key players and coaches. The show will run weekly throughout the 2010-2011 sports season. This week’s show includes:

  • A preview of the 2010 Hokies and a pre-season update with Coach Beamer.
  • A breakdown of the Hokies’ offense with Travis Wells.
  • A one-on-one interview with Tech quarterback Tyrod Taylor conducted by Grant Kittelson.
  • Flashback to the Hokies 2004 win over West Virginia.
  • A look ahead at the 2010 ACC Coastal Division race.
