Hokies to hold first spring scrimmage Saturday
Fans allowed to sit on West side; no video cameras allowed

The Virginia Tech football squad will hold the first of three open scrimmages this Saturday inside Lane Stadium. Fans will be allowed to sit on the West side only for the scrimmage, which will start with stretching at 11 a.m. Gates open at 10:30 a.m., and gates 4 and 5 will be the only gates open.

Coach Frank Beamer has asked that no one video records the scrimmage and ushers will not allow video cameras of any type into the stadium.

Fans will not be allowed onto the playing field after the scrimmage is over.

The Hokies will hold three of these scrimmages. The same rules will apply for the scrimmage on Fri., April 15, which will be at 7 p.m.

The Spring Game, the final of the three open scrimmages, will be held on Saturday, April 23 at 2 p.m. Check back for more information when it becomes available. All three scrimmages are open to the public and are free.
